Summer Weddings

On Saturday night, I got to attend my great friend Camille's wedding reception. It was so summer perfect! Outdoors on the beautiful green lawn, with white Christmas lights in all the trees, and candles lining the driveway and on all the tables. And so much good food! Food galore!! And Camille's new family! She married Cody Hawkins, who is part of the Tenney family. The reception was in the joint Hawkins-Tenney backyards, and the whole family was there. I love love that family. There are so many of them, and they're so happy! You get them all together and it is a giant party, with laughing and dancing and so so much great food.
It was gorgeous. And I saw so so many of my high school friends! It was great to catch up with everyone, find out who is married/pregnant/going to Switzerland to study chocolate.
Hooray for summer times!
This Friday - giant party! We're all getting our friends together and going night swimming down at Fool's Hollow! It's going to be utterly brilliant!
WOO!

Summer times Summer equals AWESOME!

Number one. Dorm Life. Google it. Watch it. Laugh your face off. Love it.
Ok, you don't really have to follow all those commands. But. It is quite hilarious. My sister Jessica introduced it to me, and we watched the entire two seasons in about a week. When it was over, I wanted to cry. How pathetic, right? Still. As I am willing to admit the patheticness of it, I suppose that is alright.
Number two. THE 4TH of JULY!!! The best day ever. Just saying.
Number three. My friend Matt has been taking the mission lessons at our house, and he is getting baptized a week from today! Excitement much?! Answer: YES!!
Number four. One time a boy called me on my house phone. I gave him my cell phone number so he could use that from that time forward. I checked my Facebook today and had a message from him. Apparently, he heard my number wrong, and called a Mexican guy. How sad!
Number five. The song Get Higher, by Paper Tongues. Since my Pandora CUT OFF ON ME (apparently, you only get 40 free listening hours a month. Whatever!) I went to another Internet radio thing, jango.com. Let me tell you, I think I like it better. Since it doesn't cut me off!!! Without warning! Ok, I think Pandora may have emailed me. . . . I just didn't check it. But whatever.
Um. What was I talking about?
Alright, BACK from the sidetrack. But yes! My Jango radio has shown me so many great new songs/bands! I really love Paper Tongues. They are great.
Number six. Pick up sticks.
Number seven. Back to work!
Peace.

What?!

Was anyone else astonished/betrayed when they found out that Swedish Fish are made in Canada?!
If we can't trust our candy manufacturers, then who can we trust?!
NO ONE, that's who!!
Oh great.

Life Goal

I think . . . I want to become a D.J. when I grow up. Like, in a dance club.
Is there such a thing as D.J. school?
I should probably look into that.

Celebration!

Guess what?! I started/am in the process of finishing my mission papers!!
Super legit!
Today I had to go get a Hepatitis A shot. Blech. My arm is killing me!
On a happier, and greater, note: Neon Trees. More specifically, the song Animal, performed by Neon Trees. Brilliant! I'm also partial to the song The Sins of My Youth. Yeah!

Insanity

Good heavens. Shouldn't summer be easier than the school year?
It should! Yet I find myself super busy! And when I'm not busy, I'm tired! All I do is work and sleep!
I guess that's real life.
Blech.
Ha! I swear, my attitude is not bad. I'm just disillusioned.
New topic: My new favorite thing = Pandora Internet Radio! Super Brilliant.
AND! The theme song for the summer, aka the song which embodies the feelings summer should feel like, is WONDERFUL BY GARY GO. My friend Jeremey introduced me and Jessica to this song on our trip home from Thatch town. Since that time, I have listened to it at least once a day. It is that good. Plus, in the video the guy is wearing GLASSES!!!! With a gray blazer and a classy black skinny tie! I must find this boy. And marry him.
Ready GO!
or GARY GO, rather.
